ok i have a ecs motherboard and windows 7 does not seem to have the networking drivers for it. I recently upgraded from XP where everything was working fine but now i have no internet access. I use a onboard networking controller but under device manager it doesnt show.
Just says: PCI simple communication controller

i have tried to download drivers off the ecs homepage but i dont think these are compatible with windows 7 as windows still has no driver for it.  Should i upgrade bios or whats my next step to get the onboard networking functioning?

Here are pc specs"
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.40 GHz
MB: ECS nForce4M-A v3.0
RAM: 1gb
GC: Sparkle GeForce 9400GT 1024mb DDR2

windows 7 is showing some error message while installing driverserror message while installing drivers.  Windows seven says it needs to have a digitally signed driver to work.

What is the meaning of digitally signed driver? From where I can get it. I was trying it for my wireless adaptor
